||||Brinell hardness test
The Standard Penetrascope® can be used as a brinell Hardness Tester by replacing the pyramidal diamond indenter by ball type inenters (1mm and 2mm only). These indenters are interchangeable.
The penetrascope® is guaranteed accurate within the limits of British Standards BS: 240, BS: 860 and ISO Recommendations R79 - R191 - R403 - R410.
Brinell Hardness Tests can be performed with the 1 mm ball at 5.10 and 30kgf and with the 2mm ball at 20 and 40kgf.
Ball indenters (1mm and 2mm) and ISO Recommenations may be obtained as optional extras.
